The Blickle Drum Brake Caster

Innovation has a spring that when engaged, reduces the speed of the moving wheel. The drum brake mechanism is made of two brake shoes with a wedge between them. When the drum brake is activated by a cable pull or lever arm the wedge changes position to press the brake shoes against the inside of the wheel center, reducing the speed. The specially designed enclosed bracket protects the brake shoes against dirt and corrosion, ensuring your caster brakes work properly and safely, every time
